1. Our much anticipated start - Barcelona

We found out that our tickets would cost the same by starting in Spain and returning from Paris, so we thought Barcelona would be a fantastic point to begin our trip.

Staying in Las Ramblas was perfect, and we enjoyed very good weather, getting to know the city and staying away from pickpocketers. Kris discovered that in fact the mediterranean does exist in Barcelona, making the food even better!
